Jesus - The Son of David

Acts 2:30
"Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne."

Romans 1:3
"Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh."

Problem:
To prove that Jesus is not the Son of God, Moslems cite a number of verses. These verses are especially chosen because they both emphasize that Jesus was descended from David in a physical sense. Moslems argue that as Jesus was David's son he could not be the son of God.

Solution:
Everyone has two parents and Jesus was no exception. Jesus is descended from God because God is his father. He is also descended from David because David was an ancestor of Mary the mother of Jesus. The full genealogy is found in Luke 3:23-38.
